Swap instead of buying new – welcome to Swap Day on April 25!

On April 25, Lumire, together with Hej Främling, Fritidsbanken and Vilda Kidz, invites you to a sustainable and inspiring Swap Day in Porsöhallen. Here you’ll have the chance to hand in things you no longer need – and exchange them for something else that can be put to better use.

How it works

Drop‑off of items:

April 22–25

Bring a reasonable amount of items that you can carry in yourself. We cannot accept large loads or trailers. All items must be whole, clean, and in working condition.
We reserve the right to decline items.

Items you are welcome to swap

Accessories, toys, clothes, plants, sports equipment, books, kitchenware, home textiles, and more.

Items we do not accept

Outdated encyclopedias, knives, underwear, hygiene products, pillows and duvets, corded electrical items, furniture.

The actual swap takes place:

When you hand something in, you’ll receive a ticket that allows you to choose up to 10 items from what others have contributed – a sustainable, fun, and completely free way to find something new. Don’t forget to bring something to carry all your discoveries in during Swap Day.

An event for everyone – and completely free

Swap Day is open to everyone in Luleå and the surrounding area. By swapping instead of buying new, we save resources, reduce waste, and strengthen circular consumption.
